Voltage meter in the car has a red light that has been blinking and now the meter keeps going up and down. from 10 to 13

Hi,
One possible cause would be the internal voltage regulator of the alternator is going bad.
Most parts stores provide a free check of the alternator and regulator.
Good Luck!!!,

The factory security system (VATS/PassKey) is dying. You can find a great write-up here: http://newrockies.ca , it was the only thing that saved my Park Avenue.

1995 Buick Park Ave. Brake light remains ON and chimes on driving

The problem is the car think the park brake is on (intermittently). I would check the park brake switch, perhaps it's loose, or perhaps the park brake is pushed down to the first "click" spot. Also check the wiring connection to the switch, and the wiring nearby. Good luck!
