youll have to raise the hood on the truck to access the screws that hold it in place there should be 2 of them holding it

SOURCE: Rear Wiper Quit Working

It is the Motor. This is a VERY Common GM Problem that they have not Fixed since 1990. You will need to remove the Rear Door Panel to Access the Motor.

You will need a wheel puller.. Makes life much easier for pulling the stearing wheel off..
The wheel puller comes in various shapes and sizes with - all with the basically same idea..

91 3/4 ton 4x4,454.idle falls off&dies when stopping or when shifted from fwd to rev. no codes tried iac motor but no change.

You may have a body throttle position senson. You need a scanner to confirm that. You may have a vacuum leak somewhere around the throttle body. You may have a fuel pump getting weak so I would check fuel pressure. You may have an EGR valve that is partially stuck open.

Hello: Have you tried the circuit board that goes on the front of the motor, That was a high failure item. I had a '92 (189000 mi) and had to replace 3 times.

Try running yoor own ground wire directly to the wiper motor or the wiper motor mount,this woks 80% of the time.

safer to buy and replace with new or one from salvage yard than to splice wires to wiper motor u will get one speed -but can be done splice off power from hot side of fuse to one side of switch disconnect harness and connect of other side of switch to line to w/w test which one is reg speed and splice in
