Starts great but motor trembles

As long as you're not pumping out white smoke from the tailpipe or losing coolant, then it's likely electrical.

First thing you can do, easiest also, is a visual inspection. Check for broken or cracked or disconnected spark plug wires.

There's many many many more tests you can do... if/when you're ready I can tell you a few more, and if you have tools for them.

2002 windstar 178,000mi starts rough stalls when engaged just Replaced SPARK PLUG #1 3 days ago

why did you only replace the plug.you don`t say.it could be a fuel problem, some of these had problems with the coil packs and or the wiring to the coil packs not working as intended.check these out.

CHANGED WIRES TO PLUGS WANT VERFIY PROPER LOCATION TO COILS

have a look at the coil pack... it is numbered... now if it's like a 95 windstar the engineers had a sense of humour. it is 1 2 3 down one side then 4 6 5 down the other.... i didn't notice this when i changed my coil pack and couldn't figure out why it was missing.

2002 ford windstar misfire!!!

Hello

Check your ignition components, spark plugs, wires, if they are in good shape. Check with Ford technical service bulletins. There is a TSB for the upper intake plenum gaskets leaking when engine is cold. The TSB also has a reflash for the Engine Control Module.. I tried just doing the upper intake gaskets and so far so good. The reflash (reprogram your original computer) has to be done at the dealer. Hope this helps..

1999 windstar 3.8 starts up miss then quits runs good after that

Does the miss quit or does the engine quit. If it misses for a while and then quits missing, you've probably got a fouled spark plug caused by oil fouling the plug after the engine sits a bit. The root problem is leaky valve seals. The quick fix is try new plugs.
