Question about 2003 Toyota Celica
2003 celica not driven for 4 months (but was running fine before it was parked) Tried to start it and it would not crank. Recharged battery fully-still no crank called dealership and they said to hold in red security button while cranking--still nothing. dash lights come on, security horn blows everytime door is opened--whats wrong?
If you have a bad contacts at the battery, solenoid, ground and/or
starter .. it could exhibit this kind of activity ..
take the battery cables off the battery and clean those contacts till
they are shiny, trace the ground wire to the frame/firewall and clean
that contact (emery/sandpaper), and trace "hot" wire to
solenoid/starter and make sure that they are clean and tight .. another possibility could be the neutral safety switch .. try starting it in neutral
