How do I remove the headlight switch on a 1992 e350 in my motorhome

Pull the knob off the switch. Switch shaft has a flat side and knob has a metal retainer clip inside it.
2) Pull the dash panel off by your left knee. Don't remember if there is a retainer nut on front of dash or not. Don't think there is.
3) When you get the dash off I think there is a retainer nut that holds the switch to the front of mounting bracket.
4) Unplug headlight switch electrical.
5) Loosen retainer nut and I think the switch will come out towards the firewall.
I think that dash panel comes off pretty easy. If you look up underneath I think you can tell how it comes off.

Recieving p1237 after replacing tps, fuel filter, fuel pump and assemply. My fuel rail pressure sensor is stillbeing called and p1237 nowpeople have said gem or speed module.odometer stopped.Radio goes

I'm thinking you took it to a point and guess shop.? I think it is this, Nope, Now I think it is this, nope......Well I'm thinking it is a bad fuel module, because of where they locate them. Could just be the plug, corrosion. I'm also thinking you have a bad ground also. I'm also thinking you should find another shop, And demand your money back for a misdiagnosed job, that didn't fix the problem.

Oil gage doesnt work all the time, have replaced the oilsending unit and connection. My mechanic thinks dash gage cluster is probably bad. What do you think?

If nothing else is out in the dash, I wouldn't think it is bad. I would think it may be a defective guage. If it was the dash cluster, wouldn't other components be out? Maybe the guage is stuck.

Trany slips in second and 3rd and is automatic what do you think is wrong

I was told by a tranny mechanic that it was a problem with the transfer case, some kind of chain is sliping, I think this sounds weird, but our explorer is only slipping between 2nd and 3rd, anyone out there thinks we are getting duped, as we are thinking?

Installing driver side interior door handle

pull the inner panel off by first un screwing the two screws located on the handle portion of the panel(they may have plastic hadeaway covers over the heads) then remove the window rolldown handle(if so equipped, manual window)then pull the plastic trangle from the inner of the mirror(this little tri angle keeps the trim down and secure on the door. then pull the palnel directly out there are small clasp pins in behind the panel try not to break these(but they do sell replacements at your local auto store) you will have to get ALL of these free then wiggle the panel up releasing it from the inner shell of the door and and window. you should now have a clean view of the handle. you will now need to droll out the rivit holding the handle to the inner steel of the door. pull the handle forward and it should be released from the inner steel now there clips holding the "rods" to the handles back side, they should have a little piece clipped to the rodto un clip these you need only push them off with your thumb. then replace handle with the new one, and uce a large steel screw to secure the handle when replacing back on door.
