Hello Cindy Cox,

power windows are generally on a circuit breaker...

Try disconnecting the driver door... allow time for the BREAKER to chill out and see if the other windows might start working...

Get out your volt meter and test the switches on the drivers door switch for proper functionality...

Rear electric windows won't roll back up. Circuit breaker?

There is a fuse but if it is only back ones and the front work without trouble not fuse. If one window don't work could be motor. If both windows don't work probably a switch check left rear switch. Also relay space 9 in fuse box

Right rear window does not work

All power originates/passes through the master control switch on the drivers door panel. Start by popping the drivers switch and with key on check power going to & through the master switch especially the switch that raises/lowers the window in question. Surely you've done checked the fuses and or relays? Hope this helps.

Rear left power window in not working with driver's switch(main switch) and not even with left rear switch(automatically), manually working with left rear window switch, can any one help me out with t

if your sw at the window works and the main one won't then the wire between must be bad. Test the wire for continuity between the switches. probably should disconnect the wire from the switches before doing this.

Rear window will not go up. how do you replace the window motor? the switch on the main driver door does not work and the back rear passenger switch is not responsive either. I'm thinking the motor went...

See if you have power at the rear switch (a simple circuit tester works for this). If you do, then check the switch itself. If you have power on both sides of the switch then it's time to tear off the panel and see if you have power to the switch, if you do and the ground is good, the motor is probably shot. New ones are pricey, I'd head to my local salvage yard for a replacement.
IF.... you DON'T have power at the switch you may have broken wire inside the rubber boot at the drivers door. Over time, the opening and closing of the door flexs the wires and they sometimes break. I have had this happen more times than the motors going bad.
It's just a process of elimination.

Good Luck

I have a 2003 ford crown victoria police car back power windows, only work from front buttons do not work from rear door buttons, works great from front

most police cars either did not come with the wiring in the rear doors, or was removed during conversion. they are typically a wiring nightmare, and everyone of them is different. you just have to dive right into it and try to find where the wiring modifications were performed. good luck!

Driver side front and rear windows do not work

Look down inside the door arm rest with the switch out see if any wires are broken. And sometimes you have to change both switches. There are ways of testing but it's have to test for feed and grounds for this problem.

1987 Buick Centry - power windows don't work on drivers door

I woul d look at the main window switch. Gain access to rear of switch. Might be just a loose connector. If it's tight, WITH THE IGNITION KEY IN THE ON POSITION, remove the connector, and probe the contact holes with a grounded 12V test light. Look for and orange wire . Should light the light. Let me know
