Unfortunately the problem lies in your ignition switch. My car did this and I finally had to install a push start as the switch went out eventually, yet that seems to have only delayed having to buy a new switch seeing as I'm having the same problem with the push start now.

I have the same problem with my 1994 Stealth.
Funny little solution to this quirk. If I open and close the drivers door, it somehow makes this bug go away. Try it! Slam the door! this fix is absolutely free!

My 1992 stealth ES keeps shuting off as i'm driving i hear a "click coming from somewhere inside near the shifter then it shuts off. after a few minutes if restarts. I can't get a code read. the only time...

The click you hear may be your Fuel Pump relay. I believe this is located to the right of the shifter on the side of the tunnel under the trim piece. You'll need a phillips screw-driver to remove the trim piece.

I hope this may have assisted,
Tom

Likely it is a bad relay. would have been easier to find when it was clicking but usually it's located with a group of other relays in a power distribution box.(under the hood)

Did you try turning steering wheel hard one way or the other? If your parked with wheels cranked, get someone to try rocking vehicle back & forth a bit while you try to turn wheel in same direction they are cranked real hard, then try to cycle key.

Check your grounds guys...if even ONE ground is loose or corroded from the block, she'll act up...especially more when warm. Another good place to check is under your console (behind radio), this is where your main ground actually connects (weird yes) but we've rebuilt a stealth and had this problem....turned out to be the ground on the metal chassis behind the radio.
