How to replace front wheel bearings in 2006 nissan sentra
Tried getting a haynes manual for my sentra but it isn't out yet so how hard is it to change the front wheel bearings? I've taken the front wheels apart as far as calipers and rotors then stopped. I'm not all that familiar with taking front wheel drive cars apart mostly my 86 mustang so I am unsure what suprise things might be involved.
Thank you but I need instructions for a drive wheel not for non-drive wheels. Thank you but I need instructions for a drive wheel not for non-drive wheels.

How are the tires? New? Old? Rotate them and see if noise goes away. Possibly front wheel bearing in the front drive axle where it goes thru the hub and rotor.......goes the noise get worse if you turn right or left slightly when driving it? If it gets worse on one side that is the side with the bad bearing.....replace as needed.
Depending on how the noise is affected by your driving, it could be an axle joint or the differential in the transaxle. If it is coming from the back instead of the front you may still need hub bearings.
That loud humming noise you are hearing is the wheel bearing. After hitting the curb the bearing took a hit and became a little wobbly and over time the grease has seeped out and started causing the humming. So just replace the wheel bearing and anything else that might be loose or damaged like the tie rod and ball joints. if those issues are not corrected it might happen again down the road. good luck and glad to shed some light on your issue
Raise vehicle, remove wheel, remove brake caliper, remove brake rotor remove steering knuckle by disconnecting the tie rod, ball joint, and strut. press out hub, remove snap rings press out bearing. Reassemble in reverse order.
