Question about Datsun Maxima
My car window slowly falls down while I'm driving...When I stop somewhere, I have to pick it back up with my hands and I have a cardboard piece holding it up for now...I can roll it down which it seems to be off track, when I roll it down the right side of the window goes down and the end of the left side is in the middle of the window....When I try to roll the window up...it makes loud noises like gears grinding...What can be the problem and how much would it cost? The dealership quoted me a price for like $450...ridiculous!! Could it be the motor or regulator?
Probably worn out regulator, especially if you haer the motor when you press the button, try various nissan wreckers it should be $100 maybe $200 but thats it labour should be 1 to 2 hrs depends on mechanic, definately window reg problem
