Question about 2003 Mercury Mountaineer
Light comes on on the instrument panel but none of the gauges work (i.e., no speedometer, no rpm, no gas indicator, no mileage indicator, no inside lights, windows will not roll down, no radio, etc.). Fuse(s)? Or?? Headlights, running lights, brake lights, signals all work.
I had a similar problem with my wife's car recently (Olds Alero), fuse block had shorted out. If nothing else works try that as a last resort, as they are difficult to test and expensive to replace, although sometimes a scrap yard will have the right part.

Apparently a (some) loose fuse(s). Unplugged, checked the fuse(s) and replugged. All is working fine.
Thank you -
