Question about 1993 Dodge Caravan
My tran. does not go in to rev. until it gets wormed up alittle bite
For future reference: Matters have three states liquid, solid and....( you know the other one ). Temperature plays an important role over matter. so a colder lubricant will, by logic be thicker then it's counterpart...add to this lubricant degradation from heat, friction, condensation .., contaminants from, again friction, condensation and environment, you end up with "sludge" it's not a lubricant anymore it's a radical vector. How clean is your trany after 10 years in this muck ? Mollasse is the answer ?? Huummm...I bet Half a pint of Varsol would do it over miracle mollasse even in the long run. This is pure physic. An oil/filter change (a lot of filter are expensive but easely cleanable)on a trany is perhaps a little more messy but maintenance is the Immunity !

Try checking the fluid level when cold and then when hot. sounds like this might be the problem. and it won't hurt to put the lucas brand trans slip stop in it. its like molasses when your pour it in and does wonders. saved many of trans before it was too late!!!!!
pay alittle now for something that may be saved!!!!!
