Same cylinder all the time? What brand of spark plug did you put in? Have you cleaned injector connection? If spark plug and wires are known good, injector and connection would be next. Did you erase code after other work done?

What should I get done as part of a tune up on a 2000 Durango with 200,000+ miles and what should I expect to pay?

Spark Plugs are Preventative Maintenance

There is no more ,or anything called a tune-up,
in the last 25 years

All done by the vehicles computer (PCM/ECM)

Not sure--I assume you just bought it!

Hi, i have doge durango 2001, how often do i need to change the spark plugs?

Hi noe-
assuming your 2001 Durango has a 5.7l Hemi powerplant, there are 2 spark plugs per cylinder that Dodge recomends changing every 30K miles. Of course they suggest you use Mopar plugs.

Thanks for the question & hope this helps...

How often should i get my dodge durango tuned up . Also i need a picture of my engine. were are the spark plugs.

You must have the 4.7 liter moor which is "coil on plug". The spark plugs are threaded vertically down into the intake manifold directly under the 8 coil packs on the top of the intake.

A single 10mm nut holds each coil in place.

Dodge specifies an interval of 30,000 miles between plug changes, but you can go 40-50k if you do not idle a lot or drive it hard.

The OEM Champion plugs work well and are inexpensive.

They are RC12MCC4 if I recall correctly. Verify before purchasing though.

2000 dodge durango 5.9 surges and stalls at all stop lights.

first check all vacuum lines especially the one behind the throttle body to make sure none of them are off also have it tested to see if one of the coil packs on the spark plugs is bad and it hasn't had a tune up in awhile now is a good time to do so fuel filter plugs coil pack on the plugs if needed and the drive belt checked
