Question about 1992 Ford Tempo

Need fuse box diagram for a 1992 Ford Tempo.

I can easily find the fuse box for my 1992 Ford Tempo, but without a manual to tell me which fuse is for what, I'm lost. A diagram for which fuse is for what component would be GREAT! TIA.

Thank you for your reply, snorkelbobby. However, the diagram is NOT on the fuse box cover. First place I looked. Manuals are 1. hard to come by and 2. expensive.

I guess I'll just keep dinkin' around.

    Thanks, again,

Location of radiator fan relay 1992 ford tempo gl

The radiator cooling fan relay in ford Tempo gl has been integrated into the CCRM (Constant Control Relay Module) this is the black box fixed to the left strut tower with the big cable harness on it.

This relay box is commanded by the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) it´s linked to every sensor in the car. (It's located behind the fuse panel next to the steering column.

The PCM supervises various conditions, including the signal that the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor sends and power up the Fan Relay into CCRM to activate the Cooling Fan.

Lost cover for1993 ford tempo fuse box ,need diagram to replace a fuse

Probably much faster than waiting for a diagram, you can use a test light or volt meter to probe the back side of each fuse without even removing them.... there is an opening behind each connector in the part of the fuse that faces you when it's installed. All fuses should have power with the key and lights turned on. any fuse that does not show power at both ends is bad. (entire test takes less than ten minutes) Then, when you have the time, get yourself another cover at any scrapyard...probably costs about a dollar or two!!

1992 ford tempo blower motor

If you look up behind glove box (it will come out if needed) you should see wires going into heater housing/duct, then out to blower motor. The connector there should be attached to a resistor that may have gone bad. I believe there is 2 small screws holding it in to housing.

Usually the fuse diagram is located inside the glove box on a sticker. If yours is gone, check out your local library for the big book on the tempo. Hope this helps, KJS
