My 300m is stuck in 2nd gear after changing the transnission twice

On the driver side of the transmission, there are two speed sensors. One monitors vehicle speed, and one uses info from the speed sensor to reference gear shift speed. Try replacing them before spending any big money. Its a do-it-yourselfer if you don't mind going under the car-they screw in. Be careful.

2004 dodge ram 5.7 liter hemi... speedometer bounces sometimes does not work at all ..abs light and brake lights are on..check engine sometimes comes on.. i changed te rear speed sensor its still not...

Disconnect the abs control module connector (located on the left fender near firewall) and see if there is any water in the connector. Also, the system also uses the left front speed sensor for the abs and speed inputs. Check the wiring to it and alos for looseness in the hub.

I get various lights on: transmission, ABS and

More like computer.. you will need to isolate the problem with one code at a time... sometime two codes are fixed, try this:
1. Check the rotor and break pad thickness, that normally will fix abs, brake or abs and tracs.
2. check engine could be as simple as an O2 sensor or fuel filter, coil pack, starter... each needs to be check'd.
3. check engine should identify condition codes.. go to princess auto and pick up the comptuer untit for 60$.
4. If it ain't burning oil.. heck have fun with it.
Have fun..

ABS and Handbrake lamps on

This is usually caused by one of the front wheel speed sensors dropping signal under 10MPH. the first thing to try is to remove both front wheel speed sensors (Behind brake rotors) and clean the area where te sensor goes into the hole. Then lightly grease the sensor O ring and reinstall it.
