theres usually only two reasons for a fuse to break 1 wrong size fuse 2 shorting out like a wire coming in contact with metal or another hot wire check all your connectors .. the best way that I could solve this problem is with a 12 volt light tester that can be picked up at wal-mart or a local auto store and follow it alway to the ctsy light..

Why does the ctsy fuse keep blowing

Fuses blow for one reason only. There is a short somewhere in that circuit. Make sure to check everything that's powered through that fuse.

By the "back light" I think you mean the rear interior light? That would be marked CTSY or ROOM in the interior fuse panel

Interior lights do not work on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, I can not find the fuse for it.

Hello: Check in the fuse box under the hood on the drivers side. On the inside of the cover is a key to fuse location.

The interior lights will not come on when door opens, the visor lamps will NOT light no matter what, radio lights work normally the turn signal lamps blink fast, but all bulbs light

For the turn signal flashing fast - MAKE SURE you have all bulbs flashing that are SUPPOSED to be flashing. The front side marker lamps are part of this equation.

As for the interior (dome and visor) lamps, there is a fuse labeled "CTSY LAMP" in the fuse block. The lamps themselves are controlled by the body control module (BCM). The CTSY LAMP fuse only provides input power to the BCM. I would start with a scan of the BCM to see if it can shed any light (No pun intended) on your problem.

1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport The fuse that handles power for the instrument panel, radio, remote key, interior lights, ... blows from time to time. When I insert a new one the new one immediately blows as...

Not sure but I advised you before!!
Any way last time!
You have to t/s the moment the fuse blows and elimate the systems (short) connected to that fuse, for sample, dis connect the interior light, install fuse, if it blows than it is NOT the interior light, keep going till you find the short!

Fuses

you will have a gauges fuse that is 10amp. and a ctsy fuse that is 20 amp they run off one of those. if all lights work other thann interior lights try sliding dimmer back and forth several times this can help with corrosion on it
