Question about 1999 Dodge Stratus
Two days ago the car started but it was very cold 10 degrees. Before I stepped on the gas pedal it idoled very hard the steering wheel was shaking profusely.Well when it's very cold I need to keep my foot on the gas pedal so it stays running.Well I left off the gas and since then it only cranks over.We replaced the ignition coil with no luck.I checked the spark plugs and the second one from the left by the engine it had alot of oil in it.Could you please help me with this problem. This car is a huge headache and I do not want to invest alot of money into this car.
It also sounds like your valve cover gasket is leaking into your spark plugs, which would affect engine performance. Parts to replace the seals run about $20 and is fairly straight forward. If you have oil seeping into your spark plugs, the problem is with the seals inside the valve cover gasket.

I rotated camshaft sprockets with the belt off and now the timing is off how do i fix it

Check your timing belt. If it has some miles on it, it may have broken the tensioner and jumped time which will cause the problems you have.
