We have the exact same problem. It hasnt been fixed for a couple months because we can't find the unit either and the only thing thats behind the dash is on the drivers side and its the fuse box. it's annoying that we cant find it, and I just want to know where it is.

At the risk of appearing "not mechanically savvy AT ALL," I need to ask, JUST TO BE 100% POSITIVE WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, are there ANY fuses AT ALL located in the trunk of a 2000 Chevy Cavalier?

No fuse's in the trunk , fuse box under the hood an left side of instrument panel ! Open the drivers door an look at the end of instrument panel !
What's seams to be the problem ? Something not working ?

Where is the flasher fuse located on a 2003 chevy impala?

Look for the fuse box on the left side driver side by your feet, or under the hood. If you still have the manual to the car it should show where it located too.

87 cavalier fuse location

Engine Compartment Fuse Box
  • Open the hood and look on the wall of the engine compartment on the driver's side. About 3/4 of the way from the front of the car to the windshield you will see a large black box. This is the engine compartment fuse and relay box. Undo the clip holding down the front of the box and open it; it is hinged on the back so the top opens like a door.
Passenger Compartment Fuse Box
  • Open the driver's side door. Kneel down on the ground by the foot pedals. Look on the driver's side wall under the dashboard. You will see a small black box right by the door. This is the passenger compartment fuse box. This box also has a clip to keep the front closed and hinges on the back.

It may be your horn fuse. It will be in one of your fuse boxes. Just follow your diagram on the fuse box lid.

I have a 1996 chevy s-10pick-up truck my blinkers are not working 4-way flashers are ok,fuses are ok,light bulbs are ok.where is the relays or flasher?

Flashers are generally located either under the dash (they hide them behind the horizontal panel) under the hood in the fuse box.

Also, relays can be hidden under the hood or in the fuse box.

The interior fuse box is where the 'turn signal' fuse is located.

Can't find the turn signal or emergency flasher fuse for 1998

Conrad, up north.
My protege is a '99. The turn signals and hazard flashers use the same flasher unit. It is located under the dash to the left of the steering wheel and above and a bit to the right right of the driver's side fuse box.

I CAN NOT FIND WHERE THE FLASHER UNIT IS SO I CAN REPLACE IT SO MY TURNING SIGNAS WORK

On my 2001 (same as 97) Cavalier under the steering column is a flap that is held in place by one torx screw. Drop that and you should be able to look way up and see the wires coming out of the flasher unit. The unit is attached to something metal by not much. Grab the whole assembly (flasher unit and its plug) and wiggle it free. Then you can separate the flasher unit and its plug. BTW the old unit was bright green or maybe that is some kind of cover that helps to reattach it but I didn't bother.
