Question about 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe
How do I remove the passenger side airbag on a 99 Suburban
Only a owner, or somebody who worked on an olds can give a full answer. Well, in London I don't see many Oldsmobile.
I hope to help by posting a link to Haynes Haynes on haynes manual for your model you should find the whole illustrated procedure for fitting the airbag.

SOURCE: remove airbag 99 gmc jimmy
I actually just took mine out today on a 1998 Gmc Jimmy. Its kind of simple now that ive done it. There are four ten millimeter bolts holding the passenger module in. you will need to drop your glovebox down so it is upside down to see these. It is easier if you take it right off. just take a shop light and look at the bottom of the module you will see two silver bolts (the only two ten mm down there) take them out. Then if you look up underneath you will see another up at the top left. To get this out you can hand wrench it or you can use a mini impact with an ajustable extension. to get the next the easiest way I found was to take off the trim aroung your speedometer get in the drivers seat and there is another ten millimeter nut on the top right (right by the vent holes) take that out then you are unbolted. Without going into tons of details when you start doing it you will quickly realsie how to do it it just takes some patience. Dont forget to pull the fuse before you do anything its a 15 amp fuse second row 3rd up in the panel inside the car. Hope this helps

There are no campaigns/recalls for the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System - Air Bag). However, there is a Service Bulleting regarding the wiring harness under the seats:
DESCRIPTION: Motion of the side impact air bag wiring harness and connector may result in illumination of the air bag warning light and one or both diagnostic codes listed below:
I recommend you take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Department and ask them if your vehicle has had this repair already. If it doesn't apply, pay the diagnostic fee to find out what the problem is. They will give you an estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).. Then you'll know what the problem is.

Your going to have to remove the inside door panel to get to the three bolts that hold the out side mirror assembly. Once you have the door panel off you'll see the three bolts that hold the mirror assembly, just un-bolt and un-clip the wire harness to the electric/heated mirror. To install the new mirror assembly, just do everything in reveres. Go to Auto Zone and by extra door panel clips, there is a good chance of breaking some of the retainer clips and Auto Zone will have the step by step instructions to replacing the mirror assembly and the removal to the door panel. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.

you will need a speacial tool to remove the retaining screws. The glove compartment and/or lower passenger side dash will need to be removed. The airbag is located rear top behind the glove compartment. I recommend a repair shop works on this!! hopefully this tip helps
