Question about 2005 Jeep Liberty
Back of my 2005 Jeep Liberty. I was struck in the rear in two separate accidents a couple of years ago and suspect that the key just didn't get put back into the vehicle. How do I go about getting a replacement key so that I can use the spare tire if I need to?
You are needing the wheel lock key for the nut that holds the spare tire on. If yours is lost then you may need to just go to the dealership and see about a replacement or see about borrowing one for a second to remove the lock. If they dont let you or they cost too much you can try and borrow one at any friendly body shop you might encounter. I know that the shop I used to work at kept a set of the most common locks so that we could remove them from wrecked cars.
