Dvd player plays sound but no picture. rear console is not working (radio/air channels)

Sound like the players reader head has gone up. Might have dealership confirm and then replace the unit.

My dvd player for my 2004 accura is working but the screen wont show movies, there is sound but no picture

Sometimes these DVD players have a security feature. When car is moving it won't play. Check manual to see if it has that feature. Let me know.

Chrysler town and country; rear seat dvd has no picture. Hear sound. Get picture and sound from Auxillary jacks so it is not the screen. Ran cleaner in player. didn't help

If you are getting sound and picture from the screen's auxiliary jacks, then this only confirms that the screen is faulty. The DVD player must be reading the picture signal as it supplying the auxiliary jacks, but the screen has failed to display the signal.

My dvd has sound but no picture

hi robert, if you are referring to a car dvd player then first check the wiring of your unit. there could be a picture mute/park brake wire that needs to be grounded. this feature acts as an enable for the picture on your dvd player. next check that you have set the correct system type for your region e.g. pal, ntsc, secam. this will be a button found on your remote control of dvd unit. next try a master reset on the unit. thereafter consult with your installer before taking unit for repairs. cheers!

I just bought a 2005 Toyota Sequoia Limited. It has the original DVD Player that came with the car. I insert a DVD and can hear the sound but I don't see the DVD in the player in the back. Does anyone know...

as you hear the sound, means there is communication! double check video cable connection: you should be using 3 connectors cabling (Red, White and yellow). make sure same color for video both ends....good luck

Tv or dvd player

Make sure that your dvd is electrically connected to your car. All you got to do is put it on by pressing the power button of the DVD. Then, press the dvd loading button open. Place the dvd on the loading tray, and push the button to close to load the dvd. Then press the triangle sign on the DVD to let it play. Then, you can press the volume to your preffered sound level.
