I found a clear wheel on the top of each headlight assembly that shows a bubble level inside. The bolt holding this wheel on is a torx but has a tiny nipple in the center preventing standard Torx bits to be used. Even after 2-3 turns of the wheel, the bubble didn't move and the light stayed in the same position. There appear to be centering marks on the bubble indicator. The vehicle was on a level surface. Picture below is oriented with the vehicle front at the bottom. On the right, you can see an "L" and an "R" with an up/down arrow. Is this Lower and Raise or Left and Right?

There should be an adjustment screw on the top center of each lamp it will be a philips headed screw tighten it to raise the lamp loosen to lower it there will be the same type of screws on the sides of the lamps as well the easy way to get them level is to pull the car up to a concrete or brick wall something with lines on it and adjust them.

what you need is a tamper proof torxs bits also you may need to put alittle squirt of penetrating oil  (wd-40) it should be raise and lower because of the level dont think moving it right or left should make it off plum?

How to adjust AUDI headlights beams

There are two adjustment points (screws). For example left headlight: you will see one point near the end of left wing, at bottom side through a wing hole. This is for vertical plane headlight beam adjustment (up-down). Another one point is against water radiator side. This is for horizontal plane headlight beam adjustment (left-right).

There are 2 screws on EACH headlight. One Screw does UP and DOWN and the other does LEFT/RIGHT.

These are normally an E Socket to adjust on a Chevy. there are some models taht use a Phillips Screwdriver Head to do the adjustments

Headlight adjustment

Most headlights have two adjustment screws. On on top and one on the side. These will be phillips head screws. Usually you would need to turn screw to the right to adjust right or up. Left for left or down.
