if the car is running does it have the check engine light on? if yes what is the code if no then check to see if temp sensor is reading the right temp by plugging in a scanner that can read all data to give you an accurate reading... if it reads wrong temp it can cause running issues

I use an AT212 Carina Ti 1999 Model. When the car is picking up there is a slight vibration which increases until 40KMPh and then wares off. There is a continous vibration when the car is stopped in Park...

Hi! Mine one is Ti Carina 1997. It was having vibration while in idle mode. The RPM was going up and down between 600 to 800. I changed the injectors, spark plug cable and even the distributor. Lastly, i found one of the AC vacuuam cable was faulty. Just change the cables to have a dignosis. If problem is not solved, then you gotta check your Engine's Head whether the components are rotating freely or not. A jam in head can lead to such kind of vibration, specially with A/C on as the engine has to spend more power to move the rotating components inside the head.

Get the mounts fixed asap, and go back to the dealer, let them put the idle back where it belongs. The AC need the extra horse power to work properly. You got the right Idea.

Vibration on the floor underneath gas pedal

I would venture to say your exhaust is hitting your frame, or, you may need new motor mounts. The exhaust is what I would lean toward. If you can imagine your exhaust sitting under your vehicle, and the fact that the vehicle has a little age, the motor mounts probably give a little, causing the motor to move slightly on acceleration and deceleration, thus your exhaust is going to move, and may be vibrating on whatever its touching. Good luck.

your probably feeling a rough idle of the engine. need a tune up?

in park the engine is not loaded down, just idling at a low rpm=rough
in drive with brake on you have put some load on motor also at low rpm=rough
in drive on the road engine is at higher rpm, = smoother

generally 4 cylinder motors idle a bit rough, especially if one spark plug is not firing right or fouled or one bad spark plug wire. tune up may fix it. if it is not stumbling real bad or stalling then you can live with it.
