No heat in vehicle . both heater hoses are hot

No heat in cab  both heater hoses are hot. turning climate control knob produces only cold air

I have an 06 Equinox with the same issue. I got it checked from local mechanics and Chevy. They all said it was the "blend door" that it's about a 1600 dollar fix, and isn't guaranteed not to break again within two months. GM won't recall it because they don't see it as a "hazard". I personally find it to be an issue when my defrost can't work properly with the right air temperature...

I only get cold air in the cab 2001 ford f150 5.4 triton. I checked coolant and have no problem. I checked the heater hoses and they are both getting hot. Blend door also opens and closes normally.

You have a Heater Valve inline with one of your heater hoses. It has a single vacuum hose going to it. Check your vacuum source first, also pull a vacuum on the valve itself to see if it holds a vacuum. If the valve doesn't hold vacuum-replace it. If you aren't getting vacuum to the valve, then something is wrong with your climate control(heater setting/ac) or the plastic vacuum line is cracked somewhere between your knobs, through the firewall, to the valve itself.

Drove my 2005 chevy aveo the morning after extreme cold , no heat ever came from the heater , very cold air came instead of warm air , then the tempo gauage started going up to the hot mark , could it

You can check the voltage from the climate controller itself to make sure its sending the proper signal/reference voltage/ ground etc to allow the heater to function properly. I work for AutoEcu1, an automotive electronics rebuilder and supplier and we see a lot of these Climate controllers for this particular vehicle and also a variety of abs ebcm ecu ecm pcm tcu and many other controllers for MANY other vehicles. I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need ANY FORM of assistance just post here or call 800 921 9060.

The heat does does not work in my 98 Tahoe at all its blows cold all the time I have done changed the there and put new coolent in it still have no heat so I by pasted the heat valve and ran it right in...

If you are getting hot water/coolant to the heater core and still no hot air coming out the vents, then it's a issue with the climate control or blend door. After running your engine and it reaching normal operating temp, locate your heater hoses that goes to the heater core. Carefully touch them to make sure both hoses are hot to the touch, if they are, you are getting hot water/coolant to and from the heater core. So, then it will have to be a issue with the climate control in the dash or either the blend door in the air box. It's a common problem for the climate control to go out on these models, hope this helps.

No heat / heater not working

not blowing air or when switch is on blows cold air when you have climate control knob turned over to heat? it could be a switch or blower motor or fuse if its not blowing any air. if its blows cold air when knob is on heat then is can be thermostat or low on coolant or it could be climate control module or it could be a air filter in dash.

What could cause my truck to have no heat?

the heater radiator could be blocked or the valve controlling the heater could be faulty ,,,, carefully check the heater hoses ,, they are the small ones running from the engine bay through the bulkhead into the car,,,they both should be hot ,,, if one is cold the water is not circulating either due to a blockage or the heater valve not working ,,, if the car has climate control you need to be sure that it is serviced properly as this system mixes the hot and cold air,, also at 210 you should have some heat , the best way to check if its the thermostat is to run the carstationary until it gets hot even if the thermostat is faulty the system will build up heat due to no cold air passing through the grill and coolng the engine radiator

4.6 liter has one heater hose warmer than the other. may be plugged core,or is ther a fuse to climate control switch?

Look for a heater valve on one of the hoses if there is no valve i would say its a plugged heater core.

Intermittant hot/cold air from heater

Had the same problem with my Mazda6 awhile back. Took it to the dealer and they found the radiator wasn't holding pressure. They replaced the whole radiator under warranty (WHEW!). Not sure how to check for that kind of thing, but it's a start.

2001 Acura TL Climate Control Blowing only Cold Air.

Ok it may be that the heater core bypass valve isnt opening. All that valve dose is when you turn the climate control to heat it opens a valve that allows hot coolant from the engine to flow through the heater core. What I would do is check that. It will be on the left side (passange) of your engine bay.You will see two black coolant hoses next to eachother and one will have a black box with a wire that runs to it. Have someone move the climate control from hot to cold to hot back to cold. If you dont see the wire move then you can move it yourself to open the valve.

Let me know if the valve opens or not using the climate control.
