Open the rear hatch. Next to the brake light assembly, between it and the hatch there are two flap doors in the brake light trim. Take a small flat blade screwdriver and open these doors. The hinge side of the flap is nearest the hatch opening. when opened, the flaps will reveal two screws. Remove these. then wrap a flat blade screwdriver with some tape (protects the paint) and put the blade at the front outside corner of the brake light assembly. Pry gently rearward and a plastic spear point clip will release. With the assembly off, you can see how to twist out the bulb sockets and replace the bulbs. to replace, put the spear point clip in first, replace the screws, and close the flaps in the trim.

open the rear hatch. Between the tail light housing and the rear hatch opening there is a trim strip with two flush fitted flap doors. Insert a small straight blade screwdriver into the small slot on the tail light side of the flap. Pry gently inboard and the small flap will open (the hinge side of the flap is on the side of the rear hatch opening.) Now you can remove the screws that hold the tail lamp assembly in place. Finally, there is still a "spear point" clip that fits into a socket near the front outboard corner of the assembly. Gently pry with a tape wrapped screwdriver (avoids scratches) and force the assembly straight back. The clip should release and free the assembly so you can change the bulb(s).

SOURCE: car brake lights won t turn off when car is shut down 1996 Honda Odyssey

It should be your brake light switch. There is a little plate welded to the arm of the pedal that has a hole with a rubber stopper. The rubber stopper is most likely missing, or damaged. You should be able to take a flashlight and see the plate and the switch. If the hole is plugged up, you will need the brake light switch, if not, replace the plug.

SOURCE: My 2003 Honda Odyssey has the Brake Lamp light on

That light will come on if your low on Brake Fluid, The Pads on your brakes have worn too low, or a fault is detected in your braking system. You need to get the brake system checked. If you want to check this your self to some extent you should get the Haynes Repair Manual for your vehicle as it contains troubleshooting steps to identify problems you can repair.

SOURCE: 2002 honda odyssey power sliding door roller

Not very difficult if like my '99. Be sure to purchase the correct hinge for "power" door. Here are the steps:

  • Remove rear tail light (2 screws and pull from socket)
  • Remove two screws from rear of hinge cover panel
  • Remove bolt from front of hinge cover panel
  • Open door around one foot and rest the back end on something about the same height
  • Remove the three bolts from the hinge connecting it to the door
  • Loosen slack on cable by unbolting pulley under inside rear panel (tire tool storage on driver side)
  • Slide broken hinge out back of rail
  • Replace new hinge and put all back together
I don't know if there is a simpler way to loosen the slack on the cable, but this is how I did mine.
Hope this helps.

Hi,welcome to fix ya.
this sounds like the front rotors are warped this is a very common problem on Honda cars . Honda recommends machining the rotors on the car to prevent this. using a machine called an "on car brake lathe" if your rotors were not machined this way try to find someone that can do this for you.
