Pull the door panel off and simply take your time and remove the regulator from within the door. Pretty simple.

several possibilities. 1) Take you battery to your local auto parts place and have it checked. 2) make sure that there is no corrosion on the battery terminals. 3) place a volt meter on the battery while it is running. If it is 13.6V to 14.3V that it is charging. If it is lower, than the voltage regulator (should be on the firewall or fender) is probably defective. 4) check the wiring between the voltage regulator and the battery. Good luck!

Where can I get a wire diagream for my 1979 Ford Bronco?

The easiest way is to go to your local library and get the Chilton's or Haynes manual for the 1979 Ford Bronco.

Also, there are resources online but the entire wiring diagrams can't be copied and printed here because they are too large of a file.

Good luck to you.

there is about 3 rivets that you have to cut off, that holds the window motor and regulator to the tailgate, then shift the window back and forth to get the track slides to slide out then pull the window out slowly,it will catch when its almost out so be careful.

Then the plastic plugs in the motor have disintgrated, you will need to remove the motor and either replace the motor or install new plugs in the motor.

Rear window down, how to remove window motor

take off the access cover and try to get to the motor bolts. might have to grind off the rivets that hold the regulator in place to get to the motor bolts. and take motor loose and slide window up. dont slide window up with the gate down as it will break the glass.
