Question about 1994 Chrysler Concorde

1 Answer

While car is in drive at a stop, the rpm's drop and the car dies.

Or when the wheel is turned all the way left or right the car dies. It drives great while Im on the free way or driving from light to light, but once the car is stoped at a light the rpms slowely drop and then the car dies...It re-starts right away with no problem. If I slam it into neutral when I see the rpm's start to drop it usually saves the car from stalling.
I took it to a mechanic and they replaced the intake gaskets but it did not fix the problem.
I took it back to the shop and after a whole day of them testing, driving, and inspecting the car, no one could figure out what was wrong....They told me that my next step should be replacing the computer??????

Please help...Im running out of options and Money!

There is no engine light on, I have no idea what to do?

Check the vacuum lines and also check to see if the fuel filter is good and put some STP gas treatment with injecter cleaner because you may have a problem with one of your injectors or the coil pack

SOURCE: honda civic 2001 engine slams

  1. Usually an auto damage inspector would require fees for the expertise rendered as alternate arrangement. A result produced requiring pursuit arrangements may cost alternatively. For example, acquiring parts for that may be required to contribute towards restoration of damage decided from an auto evaluation expert is achieved at an alternate location. Auto parts stores would usually be a separate entity from the mechanical expert. Also, once the constituent parts for restoration the vehicle has been acquired, the same technician's expertise may be requested as separate cost termed workmanship fees. An alternate auto expert's consultation to restore the vehicle with the diagnosis plan, acquired parts, would involve separate cost arrangements.

2001 GMC Sierra cuts out when I drive and I make a left turn, it just dies out and I have to restart it. Anyone had a similar problem or has any solutions?

If it does not do this with a full gas tank i suspect you have a problem with a (somewhat famous now) the GMC fuel pump that is located in fuel tank (i guess you missed the recall on these) , because it does restart right after it stalls out correct ?

Bleed power steering on 2008 dodge avenger

to bleed power steering, with front wheels off ground slightly with front wheels pointing straight ahead.engine off. remove power steering filler cap.add power steering until fluid level stop dropping, wait couple minutes and wait, add fluid until level stay at full cold mark on power steering cap dip stick. dont over fill.when fluid level stop dropping, start vechicle, let it idle few minutes. see if fluid level drop if so add more fluid full cold mark.then turn steering all the way to left and right with out hitting a stop.turn steering wheel several times, then turn front wheels pointing forward check power steering fluid level.if power steering fluid level stop dropping air should be out of system, if steering turning wheel dont turn smoothly and power steering fluid look light tan color air getting in the system.check all power steering lines to rack and power steering pump for leaks.be sure you replaced all the power steering lines with new o rings if not you will get a leak.if you find a leak, you need to fix the leak and bleed system again.dont drive vechicle if your steering dont feel right, have vechicle towed to a garage.

05 legacy sqealing sound when I'm stopped and turn

All symptoms of a loose or worn drive belt. As the belt wears, it develops slick spots that slip instead of grab. Since the main drive belt drives the power steering and alternator, this would be consistent with your issue.

The truck stays on as long as i'm driving but whn i come to a stop or slow down it dies and i have to restart it. I thought maybe the alternator, would that be right? Also the lights start on the dash fade...

My truck is manual and is idling rough at low rpms, it kinda surges and rpm starts to drop like between 500 and 900 rpm as well.

I have trouble starting it and stalls on me.

I have changed the alternator, starter, battery, battery cables, rotor, distributor cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs.

As for the dash light going out, mine does that too but on the left side (gas gauge side), I just usually apply a firm tap on the left side of the black part of the panel and it turns on.

At low rpm engine dies

Normally this is due to a defective Mass Air Flow Sensor. Install a known good sensor and test drive to see if it repairs the concern. There are no test to check an Mass Air Flow Sensor. Bad ones will check good.
