Question about 1997 GMC Sierra K2500
I recently changed the master cylinder, rotors, calipers, pads, wheel cylinders and shoes on my 1997 GMC Suburban K2500. Now that I have everything back together the pedal gives way just before stopping and you can here the anti-lock brakes engage. I do not have a sensor light coming on in the dash. I have checked the front sensors in the hub to make sure I have them installed properly. The only other part that is not new is the ABS Module. When I unplug the abs fuse the problem goes away? What should I do?
It might be a ALB sensor. Did you check to see if the sensor is operational? Its the cheapest place to check.
