You need a 3/8" allen wrench, it would be best if you had a socket allen wrench which would work quicker with a wratchet. If you ever have to do a wheel bearing you also need a T55 Torx socket. Hope this helps!!!

2005 Pontiac Sunfire. What size allen wrench to remove front brake caliper?

It is about 3/8 just test till you get a snug fit.
this is important use a pipe or tube over the end of the allen wrench to make it longer. The extra leverage will allow you to break it loose without stripping the hex bolt which can be done very easily. Then you never get it out.

What size allen wrench do I need to remove the front brake calipers

I'm not sure of the size. I have an allen socket made for GM brake calipers!! But i would guess it is a metric size, maybe a 12 mm. Call an auto parts store and they can pull the tool and tell you with a phone call. Good luck.

What size Allen wrench for 2001 escape front caliper?

i just changed my front rotors and pads on my 2001 escape, 6 cylinder. everyone was wrong on the wrench sizes, including the idiots at my local ford dealer. to get the brake calipers off I needed a 7mm hex bit. to get the caliper bracket off I needed an 18mm socket, it was a very easy job but check your wrench sizes first, it seems that every year and model uses different sizes.

What size allen wrench for brake calipers on 2001 Dodge Dakota 2WD 3.9L and what size is the nut holding the rotor on? Standard or Metric?

a 7 mm hex head wrench for the caliper bolts. the nut that holds the bearings in place is usually a 1 inch or 1 1/16 inch, but a pair of pliers should be enough to take the nut off after the cotter pin is removed. when you put the nut back on DO NOT over tighten it or you will damage the wheel bearings.
