Question about 1999 GMC Envoy
The C.D 6 pack in a friends suv stopped working so she asked me to install a aftermarket radio. I got the factory stereo removed. Now I'd like to know what each wire leads to. there is a plug for the C.D changer, and then the double plug which I'm guessing is 6 wires to the radio controls and then the rest for power and speakers. But there are several wires the same colour and there is a constant power wire, but no ignition wire.
Hello, If you haven't cut any wires you really don't need to. They make a plug that you can get at wally world for about $15. It makes a clean installation and when you get ready to sell the envoy you will be able to replace the aftermarket back with the stock radio. It will make the wiring simple and easy also has an adapter for the antenna. Please rate my answer, Thank you.
