Question about 1996 Ford Mustang
My '93 Mustang has a factory-installed anti theft system that starts with a flat black squarish key which fits into a small receptacle half-hidden under the dashboard. Protek Resources in Irvine, CA, the company that makes the #9E key, has gone out of business and I only have 1 key left. If I lose it, I'll never be able to drive again!
Any idea where I can get a replacement key? Ford Motors doesn't seem to know.
Thank you. Alyce
It is an aftermarket unit installed at the dealer. If you lose it, you will need to remove the system from the vehicle
