Is the problem only on the back of the truck

  • afterhoursfi Mar 07, 2009

Have you checked the relays?? Also is there a trailer plug wired to the truck, does it have power to the brake circuit could be storted there. Or you have a bad ground check and clean all of them

1990 gmc ihave all my lights butback rear driving lights is this the light switch

All your lights and brake lights and turn signals go through the turn signal switch. It jobs is to divide the lights turn signals and brake lights. One can test if the lights are going into the switch and out through the same connector where the turn signal switch comes out of the column.

Neither left or right turn signal works on my 1990 GMC Sierra. Brake lights do work. Can you make a recommendation?

Have you tried replacing the turn signal flasher? This is usually a small metal can a bit more than one inch in diameter and one inch tall, located with the fuses. It plugs straight in. You can buy them at any auto parts store. I think on this truck it is located under the dash on the driver's side, in front of the door.
