How to locate number one spark plug on a 1996 honda Accord 2.7 V6

yes, on the V engines, it can vary.
in school they say
"look from top of motor, see the cylinder that is more forward
that is on FWD car forward is to right, strut.
on is most forward on all V engines. that be #1"

login to alldata.com its all there, just look
or buy the fsm or
read these. (no v6 data , i think but is free)

sorry for so slow response.

not reading the book (FSM) invites huge errors. with all cam belts.
they are tricky , as a class.
its and interference engine and guessing can be tad expensive... BOOM

1996 accord ex bounces when going over bumps

I would say if you have those type issues in the back,
you may want to install new struts on all four corners,
as well as new stabilizer bushings & links

not always but most offen a check engine light is your oxygen sensor, will need to be replaced. most parts stores can read the code from the onboard computer and verify this.

1996 honda accord ex (six cylinder) My engine temperature gauge will go to the halfway mark and sometimes just a small way past this half point mark. It only does this in the mid to late afternoon...

if overheats, and trows water or steam, there you can think on the water pump or the thermostat, but you only have a signal problem, try replacing the tempeture sensor.

I think my fuel strainer is... uh... dying?

It is on the bottom of the pump, but I doubt its the strainer, it's likely the pump. What engine? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

Do you have an image of where the oil filter is located at on a 1996 honda accord ex

If you know where the drain plug for the oil is.......and you have the 4 cylinder engine, the filter is directly above the drain plug.
