Does the radio work at all. or is the cd player the only issue.? most of the time you need to enter a radio code to unlock the radio. If you enter it wrong to many times it will display error on the display.if you dont know the code then you can call the dealership and get the code after you do the following below to get the serial number.
Press and hold 1 and 6 on the radio while still holding the 1 and 6 press the power button. At this time it will read off serial number

There should be a card with the manually in the glove box and the code will be on that, if you cant find it then the only way is to have the dealer get you the code, depending on the radio most times all you need to do is remove the radio and record the serail # and then go to the dealer with id and the registration of the car and they will give you the code # to enter, good day,

Go to your nearest dealer of the brand of vehicle you have and talk to the parts manager or the service writer, they will be able to help you. You can go to any dealer that supports and sells your brand of vehicle.
