On my 2000 Olds Intrigue, my front driver's side window sticks when all the way up. After clicking the switch up and down 5 or 6 times it will usually roll down. It goes up just fine. I am wondering if this is the switch, motor, or if the window regulator is off. Any help?

I had same problem and changed the special thermostat twice before I solved the problem.Make sure you got the right one as it is special according to a bulletin on overheating. the first one was defective. Good luck

If a power window, then it sounds like the window regulator has failed, or on either a power or manual window- the regulator attachments have broke. The window would need to come out and inspect for the failure. ?If just the window attachments, they can be purchased and re-glued onto the glass. If the regulator has failed, the entire assembly needs to be replaced.

Their is a separate motor for each window. The least expensive fix is to replace the entire track assembly and motor. This is not a big job if you have done it before but it could be if you are not mechanical.
SOURCE: air conditioning not working on driver side
sounds like one of the mixing doors on the drivers side is stuck on the heater side. or the vacuum hose on the mixing door is off of not creating enough vacuum because of a crack in it or possibly coming off
SOURCE: drivers side power window switch does not work
If the other ones work its not a breaker fuse. Since the power for other windows feed through the drivers switch. Try a new or used switch.
