Is this fixable, or do i need to replace?
Had the same problem, it's a recurring problem w/G35 but Infinity will make you pay for the replacement (google it to see how many others have the issue)
I hit a pot hole and my 03 g35 had the error F0 message for about six months, cds would not play!! I researched on the net and it seemed like a very expensive fix. I tried all of the other ideas posted around, eg disconnect battery, remove fuse, hold down various buttons but nothing worked. One day I was turning into a parking lot and hit the curb by accident, the same tire which caused the error F0 message in the first place. Next time I turned on my car a cd ejected. The 6 disc cd player has worked great ever since.
I figure one of the CD's must have got bumped off its tray, and then got bumped back into place.
Im not suggesting anyone try this, but maybe give it some time before you spend the money to have the whole cd deck replaced.
