How do i know if my battery is going out

I assume you are talking about the lead-acid starting battery here.

1) The battery voltage at rest will read less than 12.5 volts.
2) With the headlights turned on try starting the car. If they dim considerably when cranking then the battery is likely almost useless.
3) When cranking the car the engine will sound as if it is being turned very slowly.
4) When almost completely dead the engine won't crank when starting and you may hear a clicking sound under the hood/bonnet.
5) When completely dead, even the dashboard lights will not illuminate with the side-lights turned on.

Where are the batteries in my 2007 eos

The old VWs had the battery under the rear seat due to lack of space elswhere.I think they stayed with tradition on the new ones.(a lot of larger cars have done this to help with weight distribution and the ever-growing load of tech stuffed under the hood).

1995 mazda miata no electrical power, nothing works

Most often the main 80 amp fuse is blown - happens when someone slips with a socket extension when trying to remove the battery terminals. Fuse is under the hood, passenger side and here's a diagram:

How to change the headlight bulbs on my 2007 mazda 6

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  • Now look at the diagram below and notice where the arrow points. You want to carefully press down (don't break that tab) and remove the back cover to the headlight assembly

  • Now get behind the headlight (under the hood) and the top wires are your headlights.

  • Gently tug it out and pop the old light strait out.

  • When replacing the new bulb in the socket don't touch it with your fingers or the oils on your finger will make that bulb blow within seconds. Wipe it real clean with a clean cloth if you accidenatly do.

  • Reverse the rest of the steps to complete.

  • Hope this helps.

My mazda mx5 <1600cc>at normal operating temperature idles at 800 revs, after about 20 seconds the revs drop to 400 revs, after 5 seconds they return to 800 revs, this problem is continuous at idle.This...

Sounds like a tune up is in order.
You can mask the problem by changing the fuel filter and spark plugs.
Also there is a small adjustment screw at the throttle linkage. Open the hood and stand close to the battery. Have someone rev the engine and look for the circle or half circle looking spring like mechanism. This is your throttle. Take a small screwdriver or other wrench [ some have different adjustment screws] and simply turn the screw you will see as the adjuster in about 1.4 turn until you are happy with the idle.

How hard is it to replace the parking bulb in my 2007 mazda cx9

It is very easy. When I asked the dealer, he said it would cost $35 for labor and $7 for the bulb. I challenged the dealer that I can change it in 35 seconds or less. So just got the bulb. I wanted to test, if I could do it within 35 seconds and timed it. I took only 32 seconds to do it. It is so easy. Open the hood, near the head lamp area inside the trunk you can find holders for all three bulbs. Parking bulb I changed was the small orange ones. You have pleanty for space to put your hand and take it out. Slowly rotate the holder and pull it out, replace the bulb and push it back in, you are all set. It is that easy. - HSSR

Mazda 5 stuttering

Clean the throttle body- if you remove it you will need to replace the throttle body gasket when you put it back on. If its still under warranty 3yr/36,000 miles it may be covered under warranty due to a TSB.
