SOURCE: key won't turn in ignition

If your steering wheel is locked, turn it a bit away from the locked position. Key should turn now.

Otherwise, you may need to replace the ignition or you have a bad copy of a key.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 Z-71 - the interior dome light works with the dash switches, but won't work when the door opens. Why?

Is there a button by the headlight control switch? I recently found out that the dome light only comes on while the doors are open when this button is engaged

My turn signals stopped working so i changed the flasher and now it buzzes when i try them left and right 19999 ford explorer eddie bauer ed

Could be several things. There is a buzzer for leaving the keys in the ignition when you open the door. You could have the wrong part that is not a flasher but a buzzer.

An intense short would make a buzzing sound and fry a blinker. You would need someone to check for shorted wires.

Interior light buzzer won't stop 1990 mazda miata

Actually, it's just an simple buzzer associated with the seatbelt circuit and doors. Many of us with Miata's have just removed it as it's easy to do. It's located under the dash on the driver's side and easy to remove
  • put the key in the ignition and open the door
  • reach up under the dash to the left of the steering wheel and grab small rectangular plastic boxes until you feel the one that buzzing and vibrating
  • Now feel around for the latch that holds it into place - it's a squeeze-to-release type
  • Open the latch and pull off the wiring harness
  • Use a twist tie or some electrical tape to tape the wire harness to something so it doesn't bounce around.

2002 Cabrio... Where can I get a relay board?

Some manufactuers use a buzzer sound when you leave the keys in the ignition and car shut off. Some use a buzzer for a seatbelt that is not fastened when it detects a passenger.

The use of the turn signal or Hazard could break the circuit and silence the buzzer.
