My car won't crank or start you put the key in the dashboard lights would light up ain't no check engine light on nothing and where my miles said itbreading error I took my battery gets test was good

Immobiliser not disarming is a possibility or faulty ignition starter switch, wiring or connections or a faulty starter motor.

Not sure what "itbreading error" means but that might mean an immobiliser fault. I suggest you check with the vehicle handbook or give the dealer a call for the exact meaning.

A customer had a similar problem. Somehow the plastic part of the key had worked loose and the transponder chip had fallen out and been lost - about the size of a grain of rice.

Another customer left his keys on top of the microwave oven and it wiped the security code from the chip.

I replace acranksencor on my BMW 318 m40 but the engine don't start which relay is for cranking

When the anti theft system was created, the dealers forgot to tell the new car buyers about how much the fob matters to the vehicle, without it,owners are stuck, your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your car dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.if you lost your fob or never had it,whatever, you need to have the exact fob that came with that car from the factory, the key and fob have a chip in them that only go to that certain car,if you do not have it,then you need to buy a new one from the dealer or ebay and then you need to contact your dealer about programming the fob to your car,you might not have to have it towed if they have the documents from the car,the only other way is to get a junk car, with the steering column, key, fob and all computer boxes and door locks and switch them,i just did that with a 98 dodge dakota, and it works.,,,,

How to fix .

post symptoms like this.
i check head lights, they work key out , so do they?
i turn the key to Ignition on.
the dash self test lamps all glow, do they,?
look at that CEL lamp, (aka SES) lamp, check engine lamp
it it dont glow the engine brain, lost power, fuse, (head lamps work)
if the CEL glows. then now crank the engine, (start pos.)
does it crank robustly? yes /no?
yes, do you have spark>
no, does car crank over fast with jumper cables to running donor car?

that is start, no pun.

2005 honda civic ex, replaced ignition with used ignition. had new igntion key reprogrammed to car. reprogramming of key(s) successful. green key light will not go off with reprogrammed key and car will...

Even with the reprogrammed key's the engine would crank, it might not start but it would crank over so that leave's only one thing, your used ignition switch is bad.

Anti theft system

(we can't do wiring hacks here, only stock, not stock?good luck)

NOCODEs ?you mean DTC'S? but... that not all there is...
use a real scan tool, not a near useless code reader.
do this last after fuses and the dash lamp checks for IMMO?
is the IMMO tripping?
A REAL $9 Scan tool:
you crank and see RPM at zero the CKP is dead.
you crank 5 seconds, see p0340 or 355 or the like..., after releasing key.;
btw all cars EFI cut fuel for p0340 or any code related to spark.
including zero RPM

VAT? veh, alarm ? something?
Lost the free book?
did you read the operator guide for 2007, and read the page on
the optional immobilizer and the lamp signals stated there.
it tells you exactly what the , lamps do in (alarm or IMMO , which IMMO does CUT FUEL. it's all there. you lost the guide?
Key code errors? on dash? the key lamp does show theses facts.

BELOW page 77 quotes in your glove box manual.
The immobilizer system protects
your vehicle from theft. If an
improperly-coded key (or other
device) is used, the engine's fuel
system is disabled

When you turn the ignition switch to
the ON (II) position, the immobilizer
system indicator should come on for
a few seconds, then go off. If the
indicator starts to blink, it means the
system does not recognize the
coding of the key. Turn the ignition
switch to the LOCK (0) position,
remove the key, reinsert it, and turn
the ignition switch to the ON (II)
position again.
The system may not recognize your
key's coding if another immobilizer
key or other metal object {HACKS} (i.e. key
fob) is near the ignition switch when
you insert the key

If the system repeatedly does not
recognize the coding of your key,
contact your dealer.
Do not attempt to alter {HACK} this system
or add other devices to it. Electrical
problems could result that may make
your vehicle undrivable
end quotes

The sport model is different. page 66.

its not the security system because it goes in to alarm
if armed, if anyone (say hiding in car) was to tune the key switch to start car. (page130) RTM.
it also warns not to hack this system. (alarm)

The car will not start as it seems immobiliser is a problem

could be your crank sensor has failed.

usually it is behind or near the main crank pulley, not sure on your car's exact location.

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to reset the ecu and see if it restarts.

95 F150 wont crank

the starter should be replaced. The solenoid is kikcing the pinion out but there is no contact being made to turn the starter motor. I have the exact same truck and before i changed the starter used the old starter tap trick. Tap the starter casing with a hammer and it should start turning again. hope this was helpful for you. Good luck.
