Question about 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
I have a 2003 Mercedes C180 with 59k on clock.
When starting off from cold the autogear box stays in 2nd gear.
I turn off and restart and the problem goes. No ''malfunction'' is displayed on screen.
I'"ve had the same problem with my 1996 c180 the oil and filter change did"nt help, this is common with the 5 speed automatic .I'm a truck mechanic ,Mercs are no longer what they were. Shame but thats why Lexus sells so many cars

I got the same problem about a month ago.
I've changed the gearbox fluid and filter and it's OK now.
