Can anyone solve my problem please?.

My vw golf is not picking up speed and misfiring!.

    Sorry! the cars not misfiring but its hesitating to pick up speed and I was told the epc valve needs replacing to solve the problem but dont trust the Technician.

    I dont know how to reply to posts! and thankyou for the responsces but its not the fuel pump or filter!



    The car is lacking power when foot is down on the throttle and I was told that the epc vavle needs replacing for problem to be corrected!!!



    Is this true???

    need just a little bit more info here. how do you know it is a misfire? what engine and transmission is in the car?

    Check the fuel pump and filter. And maybe the O2 sensors.

Hey mate i think your problem is the air flow mass sensor its a black box which its on to the big hose that gose in to you air filter it has a wire with a multiplug on it . you can disconect this then take ur car for little drive few miles and if the car is not being wore than it was before you need to go buy one quite expensive

If the engine has over heated it may have blown the head gasket, you say the engine noise changed and you have power loss, get a mechanic to check it and try not to drive it

Have you changed the printed curcuit At the back of the dash?If you have then check the multie plugs.
