If you can keep pumping the pedal and then it will go into gear that means you have a problem with the hydrolic system. You have a cluth master cylinder and a slave cylinder.Check for leaks first. If you have a leak fix that first if not you have air in the system and it needs to be blead.so it is free of air.

It sounds a clutch release problem. Have you checked or have you added clutch fluid? It is likely either a bad slave cylinder or Clutch Master cylinder.

After disconnecting the battery on my honda accord 2003 the alarm system doesn't work

for most a blessing, silence.
id say RTM , read the manual or operators guide
The FSM covers all this.? read it or on line at alldata.com
or here
http://www.acura-legend.com/vbulletin/f2/1990-legend-ls-owners-manual-65207/

if found that with 1st google hit, am i luckly/?

no country stated.
nor if its factory or aftermarket alarm
making a very old alarm work right , with no books is a problem.
its just a computer, programmed to be and alarm and will only
work right when all sensors work prefect.
and is unlikely after, 24 years of rain and dirt and rust.
very hard to fix. (and i know how. )

your friend, mr.google, , read.

1989 acura lost reverse and second gear

Time for a transaxle rebuild

The trans fluid change should not be done on a failing
or slipping transmission & I don't suggest a flush ever
again on any trans, you chance breaking cooler lines
& getting debris into the solenoids

I have a 91 acura legend ls i just did a full engine and ****** swap, it will shift through gears manually but when in d4 it wont

sounds like your transmission fluid is low or the trans is going out or you might just have a bad pressure plate and clutch i used to work with my familey at the shop

I have a 91 acura legend and its very hard to shift gears

The problem is most likely the slave cylinder,or the master. You can try bleeding the system, this might help, but most likely you will be replacing a part(slave cylinder,or master).

Firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. Back cylinders are 1-2-3 (passenger side to driver side). Front cylinders are 4-5-6 (passenger side to driver side) hope this helps.

89 acura legend v6 s3,s4 has no take off power

You can go out on a country road and listen/count the automatic transmission shift through the gears. Hondas bang when they shift so it should not be too hard. You can also watch the tachometer. Finally, try shifting using the PRNDL. If some gears have failed try having the fluid changed and add Lucas transmission additive as a last resort.

The anti lock light has just come on in my 1990 Acura Legend LS Coup but the brakes seem to be functioning just fine? just a sensor of an indication of a pending problem?

Just an indication that a sensor has probably gone bad, and thus the sysem has defaulted to "off". You can test this, of course... Find a safe place, accelerate to 50 MPH. Hit brakes as hard as you possibly can press them.

EEEEEEEEERT!!!!! ? Anti-Lock is off.

Thumpa-Thumpa-Thumpa? Anti-Lock still working!

Thumpa - (screeeee from one wheel) - Thumpa? You've found the culprit...
