The first thing you should do is to locate the oil pressure switch/sending unit.

This switch serves two functions.

1) provide oil pressure reading

2) disable the fuel pump relay in event of oil pressure loss.

===

When this switch is failing to provide the correct pressure to the ECU. The wiring harness can overheat and eventually create a short.

ECM2 fuse blow is because the harness is grounding/shorting.

===

DO NOT drive the truck until you change the oil pressure switch.

After you change the switch,you should spend sometime to inspect the wiring between the fuel pump relay,ECU and fuel pump.

Good luck.

Check for a blown fuse in the under hood fuse and relay center. If you find one you have a shorted engine wiring harness, you need to find the cause of that to keep the fuse from blowing again. Refer to the owner's manual for fuse locations.

Why does it keep blowing fuse for fuel pump

Take a close look at the wiring, look for a burned or bare spot that would be shorting the circuit, you might also pull the fuel pump relay and see if the fuse still blows, that will let you know if the issue is under the hood to the distribution center or from the distribution center back.

Where is the headlight relay located on a 2002 PT Cruiser?

Did you check the fuse box inside the cabin ? The book says the relay is in the fuse block but does not give a description.
Keep in mind the headlight relay only affects the headlights. The other lights you mentioned are on different fuses and not the headlight fuses.

93 bonneville keeps making noise like the fuel pump is running even when car is shut off. Killed my battery. Any idea what could be causing it to run constantly?

A sticking fyuel pump relay will cause this problem. The relay is located in the Maxifuse/Relay Center

To check the fuses in this underhood

fuse center, turn the two knobs % turn

counterclockwise and loosen the metal

wing nut on the passenger sideo f the

cover. Then remove the cover. The

inside of the cover has a chart that

explains the features and controls
governed by each fuse and relay.

Hello, i also have a 95 chevy with a 454 in it and have not been able to get it started, engine cranks over and is getting spark. i assumed it was my fuel pump because prior to this the pump would stay on...

Fuse good? I think its ecm1 or ecm2 fuse? relay good? it should turn on for 2 seconds when turning key on. the relay turns the pump on for 2 seconds, then the oil pressure switch powers the pump when the engine is running. when the pump would not shut off, the oil pressure switch could have caused that.
