http://www.ehow.com/how_6016968_fix-2006-dodge-grand-caravan.html Hi try this link the 2003-2006 are almost the same and the above link should help you to find the fuse. After you replace the fuse if it still does not work call your local dealer to find out if it could be a reverse sensor or reverse switch. Good Luck and don't forget to let everyone on fix ya know if this worked.
Hello: If you mean what turns the back-up lights on, the lights are controlled by the park neutral switch which is mounted on top of the transmission on the drivers side of the car. If you haven't checked the bulbs you need to do that first. Remove the rear license plate, then remove the screws that hold the molding behind the license plate then you can access the bulbs for the back up lights. If bulbs are good check the Park/Reverse fuse in the rear fuse block, if fuse is good check the reverse relay in the rear fuse block. The rear fuse block is on Left side under the rear bottom seat cushion.
as the rear parking sensors are hardwired into the reversing light circuit/switch,they will not be shown on the wiring diagram/fuse panel.check your reversing lights.......as a starting point....
the backup lights and cigar lighter are located in under hood fuse box on drivers side of vehicle. both are mini fuses.the fuses have a number diagram to find them. backup lights are #42 and cigar lighter is #34
actually it is very basic check the associated fuse if good go to the reverse nuetral saftey switch you should see power on a wire and when you go into reverse you will see power on two wires....let me know
The vehicle speed sensor is going bad . That's what is causing erratic shifting an the O/D light flashing .
Lamps, Backup
The back-up lamp system consists of:
the transmission range (TR) sensor.
the back-up lamp bulb(s) located in both rear lamp (13404) assemblies
circuit wiring and circuit protection
Circuit protection is provided to the transmission range (TR) sensor through fuse 30 (25A). This fuse is hot in RUN. With the transmission in REVERSE, the switch closes and power is provided to the back-up lamp bulbs through Circuit 140 (BK/PK). Ground is provided to the back up lamp bulbs through Circuit 57 (BK). The range sensor is located on the transmission at the manual lever.
