Question about 1989 Toyota Pickup SR5
Just wanted to know what the easiest way of getting out the alternator on a 85 toyota truck sr-5 xtra cab it has the gas 4 cyl motor. was just wanting to know the easiest way to get this out of the truck i have all plugins and bolts out and it is free from the alternator mount any advice would be helpful
Oh, that is fun. It is easyest to drain the radiator and pull the lower radator hose. it is tight but it will come out. it beats pulling the distributor and power steering pump though. That is a tight fit. Good luck.

The port is located under the dash on the drivers side. It is located to the right of the steering column. Should be black and pointing downward.
