There are likely instructions in haynes manual. One suggestion, don't do this unless warm. plastic tends to snap easily when cold.

How to fit an upgrade armrest on an x type jag?

The center arm rest is attached to the console by 2 small Hex cap screws. The arm rest and intermediate slide panel are attached to the same hinge assembly with rivets.
to replace the upper arm rest, 1st remove the assembly from the console by removing the 2 hex screws this will allow you to work outside of the vehicle on a work bench. 3 rivets hold the arm rest to the hinge. You will need to drill out the rivets using a 1/8" drill bit. and install the replacement arm rest using new 1/8" pop rivets.

Remove center armrest hhr

Hi Konakalela, I'm Al the owner of Big As Auto Repair
Most arm rest have a round trim cover on the side of the seat that's removable. Simple remove that cover and there is a bolt behind it that holds the arm rest remove it counter-clock-wise and pull the arm rest straight outward. For further assistance go to my website. Have an awesome day Konakalela.

The handbrake feels slightly loose on my suzuki wagon r, I know there is a nut to tighten the handbrake but I do t know where. Any answers?

If it is an actual handbrake, sometimes you will have to pull apart your center console a bit to get at it but the nut is under there or under the arm rest. Sometimes there is an access panel in the lower rear part of the center console.

I need to change the tension pulley on a 99 pontiac montana. i cant figure out how to remove the tension arm. one site said there are two bolts going to the block, i removed the only two that seem close...

There should only be 1 bolt holding the arm in place and it should be accessible from the top side. Not exactly an easy process but doable.

Here's a video of process. Can't see a lot because of the camera angle and the confined area, but it should give you a general idea.

You can skip to approx. 6:20 to get to the actual extraction and 7:35 for the replacement if you don't want to hear all the general rambling.

Hope this helps.

Acadia Interior Door Panel Removal

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

Replace the passenger window on a 1995 toyota tercel

Begin by popping clips in exterior bottom door, don't worry, these will pop right back in. Then take hankerchiefor thin cloth and slide between window crank and door, in upwards motion, to pop off, be careful, there is a plastic clip that will come off with it, I still cannot figure out how to reattach, and have my handle sperate from th door now. If you figure out how to save, let me know. Than on the handle there is a screw, take that off. You will need a flat head to pop the top of the arm rest from the attached bottom, the arm rest has plastic clips that are easy to unattach and reattach. You have then exposed 2 other screws (within the arm rest) that allow you to take the panel off. To get to the g;***, you will propably need to remove the plastic the door is covered in. Ghetto, I know, but sure helped me to avoid paying labor fees.
