Unhook all fuel and electrical lines, unhook fuel filler tube, may have to drop exhaust, and unbolt tank straps, and tank will drop out. Try to get all gas that you can out as it can be heavy, depending on how much gas is in tank. #8 gal. will add up.After tank is out remove retaining ring and sending unit with pump both will come out together. assembly is reverse order of disassembly
