Question about 1998 Chevrolet Blazer
Starts up idle comes down to 800rpm. then gradually climbs to 1200+ after engine is warm.after driving for a short time. when clutch is pushed in rpm`s rise to 2000=rpm then slowly drop back to 1200rpm local garage says the only error message is for egr valve. could the egr valve be the problem.
Egr vlve itself will cause rough idling ,stalling, stumbles during accelaration, iwould take it off clean valve ports of carbon deposits, put it back on and see, egrs are exp.enough, and like ccn7 said sounds like tps problem, but usually they give a code
