Question about 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis

1 Answer

The alarm on my 1999 mecury grand marquis has gone off

The remote does not work, and I can not start the car or turn off the alarm. Is there a way to start the car, and turn off the alarm, like a valet switch.

Remote is damaged so unusable, but alarm will go off in the driveway in the middle of the day for no reason....any explanation?

When you say remote is damaged??? How is it damaged?? If it has gotten really wet or broken it is possible that if near the car meaning close enought the remote could be activating the alarm itself. Some of those remotes have a panic button on them and or can act as panic by holding two button same time

Temperature sensor 2000 Mecury Grand Marquis

Make sure that is the sensor. That should be your oil pressure sensor. Follow the top radiator hose to the thermostat look closest to that for the wire going to the sensor. This should be the temp sensor. Good luck

1999 suzuki grand vitara

G8D711S is not alarm system. This is Daytime Running Light module. You can pull out the connector, your front lights won't work when an engine start.

My GV 2002 has a Autostart AS1203 alarm system. There is a description on Internet.
