1999 BMW 323i shakes and rattles at low speed (about 30 mph). Problem goes away after a short stop; however, it keeps coming back. EML light on when problem occurs.

I have a similiar problem with my 2000 323i, I am getting misfiring on all 6 cylinders and my o2 sensors are shorting to ground but they check out fine.  I am wondering about my Air mass sensor or my ignition, plugs are good voltage is good in the system.  I have worked on this for a week and am about to take it to the shop (if I can get it there).  Problem hit suddenly no advance failures.

1999 bmw 323i window won't go down all the way

Your window regulator should be the problem! Dealership charges $400 per window!! Here is the solotion:
1. Order the window regulator online, it should be about $35 to $65(
2. There are good YouTube videos on that topic; and
3. You should be able to fix it ASAP!

My 323i bmw had eml go on and also a triangle with a circle around it and an exclamation in the center. Do I need to take it in?

Yes, something is malfunctioning. I think the light means something is wrong with the ABS. Certainly wouldn't want to be without that.

I have a 1999 bmw 323i. engine light is on for fault code p0035, runs ok. but when EML light comes on car does run very rough. what is that mean? would you please give a hint of the problem? thanks

The error shows as a "Turbo Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit High" error. Let me guess, you don't have turbo, right?

Possiblities:

Did you recently "top off" your last gas fill? If so the error might go away on its own.

Is there a lot of moisture where you live? Ignition contact might have gotten wet.

Possibly a piece of carbon blew out of the manifold.

Does the car stall when you stop or while taking turns slowly? Might be cam position sensors.

Sorry for the vagueness but without using a Peake analyzer tool to isolate the problem it makes it difficult to give you the exact reason.

1999 323i air con is freezing then becomes hot and humid

sounds like there is not enough r134 coolant in the system and when your slowing down the compressor stops turning. Have someone add some coolant and you should be ok.

1999 323i BMW

you could have one of many faults. It would be dvisable to read the fault memory of your engine mangement unit. sounds like your throttle housung unit is more than likely your fault, but is impossible to know without using a diagnostic computor

I finally fixed this problem!  Not sure if it will work for everyone but it did for me.  My new mechanic said there is an electronic 10 pin connector hooked up to the throttle body and mine had 2-3 pins that weren't making a good connection....THAT'S IT!
