Why is my 2004 trailblazer stalling when standing still and "puttering"?

A stuck open EGR valve can cause those symptoms as can a bad idle control valve. Check for codes - or get it done at an auto parts store.

How can i turn off my windshield wipers on my 2004 trailblazer they won't turn off

There are only to things which could cause this. The wiper motor cover or the switch itself.Which is part of the multi-function switch. The cover is cheaper. It is located under the air inlet grill. The cover is on the wiper motor itself. There is a circuit board on here that causes this problem. It is the part you need to replace.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Hi,can I wash the stock air filter of 2004 chevorelt trailblazer if not then how can I clean it at home.

No, you can't wash it. You can try to vacuum it... but it won't get all the fine particle matter out of the paper. Why don't you just buy a new one? They're not that expensive and it's money well spent.

I am trying to replace my air filter on my 2004 TB and have no idea where it is located! Is it in the compartment behind the battery?

Air filter will be located in the box in the rf corner under the hood. If you follow the large intake tube off the top of the engine it will lead you right to the air filter box. Move the bracket on top of it out of the way and you should be able to take the cover off without much problem. Good luck!

How do I change the air filter on a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The air filter is in the right (passenger) front corner of the engine compartment. Use a screw driver to remove the four screws securing the cover and the air filter comes out. Be careful not to drop the screws as it's easy to do and you'll likely never find it again. Good luck.
